  1. Grand Lodge of A.F. & A. M. Illinois Scholarship
  2. To qualify, applicants must have a father or grandfather who is an Illinois Master Mason. There is no residency restriction for the applicant. The applicant must have a “B” average.  Applicant will receive the scholarship for one year only but may re-apply for additional years.

  3. Illinois Masonic Healthcare Scholarship
  4. To qualify, applicants must plan to pursue a career in the health care field.

  5. Leon M. Abbott Scottish Rite Scholarship
  6. Leon M. Abbott Scholarships provide financial support for the continuing education of young men and women from Scottish Rite families and Masonic-related youth groups. Since 1951, more than $3 million has been awarded to students from each state of the Northern Jurisdiction. Freedom, understanding, and brotherhood are dependent upon our ability to reason effectively. That is why the Masonic fraternity, and Scottish Rite in particular, have long been committed to fostering the value of education. The Abbott Scholarships began with a portion of the legacy of the late Leon M. Abbott, 33°,Sovereign Grand Commander from 1921-1932. Each year nearly 400 scholarships are awarded to eligible and deserving students attending accredited colleges, universities, and specialty schools.

  7. Louis L. Williams Memorial Scholarship
  8. To qualify, applicants must reside in the State of Illinois, be a relative of a Scottish Rite Mason, and attend Illinois Wesleyan University.

  9. Robert B. Perkins Memorial Scholarship
  10. To qualify, applicants must reside in the State of Illinois and be a relative of a Scottish Rite Mason.

  11. Sherwood & Evelyn Kresin Memorial Scholarship

To qualify, applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college or university at either the undergraduate or graduate level, but must reside in Illinois.


The Combined Scholarship Application can be used to apply for previous six scholarships listed,  The application  for the A. Colville Wilson Scholarship must be submitted separately.

A. Colville Wilson Scholarship For Graduate Work
To qualify, applicants must be graduate students in the health care field relating to children’s medicine and must reside in the State of Illinois.
Applications may be filled out and submitted electronically.
Your Application may only be submitted to one Scottish Rite Valley.
At the discretion of the scholarship committee and the chairman, scholarships may be renewed.
Over 450 scholarships are awarded state-wide on an annual basis (including renewals).
As renewals may be granted, there may not be openings in certain scholarship in any given year.
